University Hospital St. Pölten

University Hospital St. Pölten

Turnkey contractor

As part of the Lower Austrian investment program, to ensure a modern and adequate healthcare provision in Lower Austria, the University Hospital St. Pölten was extended by a new building (house D) and existing buildings were refurbished comprehensively.

Challenge

The new building had to be structurally and logistically integrated into the existing facilities - all while maintaining ongoing hospital operations. Following the relocation from Building A to Building D, Building A was to be demolished as gently as possible, without disrupting the continuous operation of the hospital.

Solution

The new building was implemented under a turnkey contract by the joint venture VAMED-Porr University Hospital St. Pölten.
