This leading touristic project is designated as a year-round destination. It offers unforgettable moments in this unique 4* superior hotel that blends relaxation, nature and ultimate comfort. VAMED not only developed, constructed and secured the investment financing, but also operates the facility since its grand opening. To maintain the highest quality standards, continous investments are made into upgrades and expansions. One of the most significant investment was the extension by 52 additional rooms and suites (equipped with natural materials and state-of-the-art equipment), new spectacular glass panorama pool and upgrades to hotel, spa, rooms and culinary offerings.
Challenge
The Tauern SPA Zell am See - Kaprun is in the middle of the mountains in Salzburg at the edge of the National Park Hohe Tauern. A key priority was to harmoniously integrate architecture into the surrounding landscape. The skyline pool, in particular, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain scenery.
Solution
Based on a turnkey contract, the project was developed and implemented - all in close cooperation with all shareholders, investors and other stake holders. Following the megatrend of health and wellness, this flagship tourism project was realized to stimulate regional tourism and economy, while creating new momentum for growth.
